Today I want to talk about accountability. In my previous post I mentioned the goals I wanted to achieve. One of my more important ones is my health goal. I try not to have a goal weight in mind and rather just a healthy mindset. But I have learned as in the past with most of my goals I need help to achieve them. So I asked two of my best friends keep me accountable. Having someone in your corner encouraging you to achieve what you set out to do can make a world of difference. I already see it helping me. Last summer I tasked myself to “lose weight” and I didn’t ask for help; of course it didn’t work because I am terrible at keeping myself accountable. I am not saying that if you set your mind to it, that you can’t achieve your goals yourself. I am just saying, that it cannot hurt having someone there to give you a pep talk or a kick in the pants to get you going. Who helps keep you accountable?
